Walks of Life

Mar 18, 2015

Tangled web we weave,
When by others we perceive,
A wanton lot,
So distraught,
Compassion cast aside,
When in our own thoughts we abide.
Stay the hand and stay the heart,
When instead we should kindness impart.
Do you know how others earn their bread?
Have you walked a day in their stead?
None lesser, none greater,
But to breathe breath and end in ash,
One holds a golden sceptre and others bear the lash.
For all the sun and moon circle just the same.

Not one extension of existence can humanity claim.
